The Garden Atriums: The Plans

To customize the Garden Atriums for different family sizes and types, both a 4-bedroom and a 3-bedroom model are available. You can further customize each home by moving or removing the interior walls, according to your family's specific needs. Every house includes a personal, private garden for each bedroom. Ten foot high glass walls provide additional sunlight and wonderful garden views. A variety of "smart" systems helps to optimize energy usage and light levels.

The 4-bedroom model, above left, was the first Garden Atrium built. It’s 4928 sq. ft. resulted in a truly elegant home. But – the size made the home too expensive for the market. Later homes, such as the 2352 sq. ft. QuFu2, are half the size, just as elegant, more efficient, and a lot more affordable.

Oversized garages and closets are standard (and valued) as people seem to have high needs for storage. No porte cachères were built.

While the houses are wired with phone, cable and data ports in every room, the more exotic “Smart House” systems did not prove useful.
