“Sustainability” seems to have two sides, the physical – living comfortably – and the non-physical – examining the transformation that’s happening. Following are non-physical … italicized citations from E, Dee Conrad’s “A New Dawn Awaits.” Her book is “channeled” with her editing; it “rocked my socks.” I’ve added comments, and bolded aspects that feel more important, beginning with our state of mind …
(P.14) The aim of life is to return to this natural state of being, this balanced state of being in which all are one and there are no divisions or separateness. The goal is to achieve this on the earthly plane, in physical form.
When your goal is to serve humanity and not yourself, you have reached a higher plateau, one in which there is no need for power or self-aggrandizement.
Next, our personal demeanor …
(P.21) Happiness is achieving your life’s purpose – attaining the goals your higher self has set out for you in this lifetime.
Of course, achieving one’s life purpose and being successful according to the dictates of society are not mutually exclusive. They only become so when one is achieved at the expense of the other. To achieve both there needs to be a balance, an equilibrium of focus.
Fear hurts sustainability. Here’s a simple act I find makes a huge difference …
(P.23) Gratitude makes the world go round and is the cornerstone of a happy life. Expressed gratitude helps thoughts become physical more quickly. The quicker a positive thought can materialize into the physical world, the quicker we can change the world in which we live. Gratitude is the nucleus around which the world orbits. The more the gratitude, the faster the universe spins. The faster the universe spins, the more good that can be done on this earthly plane and the higher the level of existence we can reach as a group and a species.
More on demeanor …
(P.28) Focusing on positive energies does not mean burying one’s head in the sand and refusing to acknowledge the negative forces in the world. Rather, focus on the positive while acknowledging the negative. Use the power of the positive to overcome the power of the negative. Refusing to see the negative gives more power to negative forces, while using the power of the positive in a purposeful and direct manner can actually neutralize the negative.
(P.29) Focusing on happy, positive emotions will bring more joy and contentment into your life. It will also bring more FUN into your life. Focusing on negative emotions will bring more suffering and trauma into your life. “Focusing” means hanging onto and feeding these emotions by letting them occupy a larger portion of your thoughts. You have a choice – we ALL have a choice – about what thoughts occupy our minds.
Looking at our world …
(P.32) The world we live in is a magnificent place full of abundance and wonder. It is up to us as individuals to tap into this flow of consciousness and elevate the development of humanity and bring a lighter vibration to this planet, which will benefit all who are in existence.
(P.35-6) Abundance is there for all who wish to receive it; not all wish to receive it for various reasons. Don’t waste your time and energy focusing on abundance. Rather, focus your time and energy on making a difference in this world and this universe, by helping this planet to ascend to the next higher level of existence. Then you will have achieved something. Then you can look back and say you made a positive contribution and had a positive impact on this world.
All the data I see says we have ample resources for all … if … we manage it as a non-zero-sum “game” … collaboration, not competition …
(P.37) We are doing nothing for God because God needs nothing from us. We are doing nothing for religion because religion is not real, but merely a powerbase for control and oppression. We are doing nothing for our nations because our nations are made up of people and I ask you – what is your nation doing for humanity? Is your nation contributing to the evolvement or devolvement of the human race? If your answer is the latter, you must now do something to change the tide. It is up to you, one person, and even just one person’s thoughts can make a difference to humanity. A single thought can ensure humanity’s survival and evolvement.
(P.45) How can we say a powerful nation who chooses to spend its national wealth on weapons of destruction and military force to invade other countries, when their rulers no longer serve our needs, is just and fair?
How can we say an individual leader who knowingly and willingly deprives others of proper medical care, proper education, or the opportunity to put food on the table – because this leader thinks the money and resources are better spent on weapons and the means of war – is just and fair?
We have become a world that has cut itself off from the source of life, as well as the meaning of life. Life was never meant to be a struggle, never meant to be an “us or them” paradigm in which your gain is my loss. Life was never meant to be a competition.
(P.46) Perhaps it is time for each of us to live life according to the way we think will bring the maximum joy to ourselves and others around us. If something brings you lasting joy (not the fleeting kind of “joy” that comes from buying a new car or eating a fine dinner with expensive wine) – the kind of joy that makes your heart sing 12 years after the fact, it is guaranteed to bring joy to others.
Next, a sense of what may be coming … soon …
(P.50) There will be a series of mishaps in the world economy that will force people to go back to their roots in the sense that they will have to depend on others as well as God for their survival. Through this they will realize that indeed no man is an island nor can one man (or man alone) exist without a connection to others. And “others” in this case means other beings of light as well as humanity and the Earth itself.
(P.53-4) When you look out of your home and you see multitudes across the planet rioting as nations, due to the massive crimes and assaults on the people by their own governments, you will know the end of the tribulations is upon you.
When you look within your own heart and soul and you feel compassion for those around you who are suffering, and when you can see them as human beings worthy of respect and care, you will have crossed a very important line in the evolution of humanity.
You will see famine and drought, war and thunder; you will see natural disasters and not-so-natural disasters.
You can “cushion” yourself and those you love by continually putting a light of protection around yourself, those you love, and your possessions. Not all of the time during the tribulation will be full of sorrows and heartbreak. There will be lighter moments and times, but these will be experienced only by those of you who have not become too wrapped up in the destruction of the world and its systems that will occur all around. This is a time to be self-sufficient and to disengage from society. This is a time to rely upon yourself for guidance and to go within to seek counsel and protection.
And what actions we should take …
(P.58) This is the true meaning and understanding of life … that you are not only what you eat, but also what you think and what you feel. The meaning of life is to be able to connect your thoughts and actions in such a way that you bring joy and peace to yourself, as well as the planet and all life forms on the planet.
(P.72) You know you have nothing to fear, not even yourself. Throw doubt to the wind and live life to its fullest right now and for the next few years. Do not get bogged down in the details of daily life.
(P.104) If you want to live in a different kind of world, one of peace and plenty for all, change the way you think and behave and do it today. Only you can put an end to this cycle of destruction and despair. Only you can bring about a new world of peace and enlightenment. Only you can create change. Only you can create.
Stay centered and stay balanced in your soul by meditating and seeking guidance from within. Follow your heart and your intuition in all matters. The time to follow only logic has passed.
In doing research, multiple independent sources that evolve the same picture prove quite reliable. These ideas are consistent with everything I’ve seen, and make me sit back and really consider what’s ahead and what’s best to do … for myself and for all of us.
